Sean Gallagher MSc MIEEM, Consultancy Manager & Senior Ecologist. Sean is primarily responsible for bat survey and mitigation advice and is a licensed bat surveyor. He is also highly experienced in botanical survey and management planning and has over ten years experience of professional ecological work. This includes upland vegetation surveys in the Mourne Mountains and seabird surveys on the west coast of Scotland and Shetland. |

Steve Ralph MSc MIEEM, Consultant Ecologist. Steve is proficient in Phase 1 habitat survey and site assessment. He has managed reptile and badger mitigation projects and undertaken a range of protected species surveys including bat and great crested newt. He has also undertaken badger bait-marking surveys and radio-tracking of nightjars. |

Nick Sanderson MSc AIEEM, Consultant Ecologist. Nick joined EMEC in 2008; he is an experienced protected species surveyor and holds bat and great crested newt survey licenses. Primary work focus is based around amphibian and bat survey but he is proficient with Phase 1 habitat assessment and mitigation strategies as well as a range of other protected species surveys. |

Sarah Allen MSc AIEEM, Assistant Ecologist. Sarah was promoted to assistant ecologist in the autumn of 2007, after gaining protected species survey and plant identification skills as part of EMEC's trainee programme. She has since become an experienced protected species surveyor and holds a great crested newt licence and is working towards her bat licence. |

Alison Sharkey MSc, Trainee Ecologist. Alison graduated from an MSc in Environmental Management in 2009 and is now working full-time with EMEC as a trainee ecologist. During her training she has gained valuable experience in surveying techniques and now holds a great crested newt survey licence. Alison continues to receive further training in field survey and report writing skills. |
