Successful Barn Owl Mitigation - July 2010

EMEC Ecology were recently informed that one of the barn owl boxes we installed at a site in 2009 has been used successfully by nesting barn owls. Many thanks to the Rushcliffe Barn Project who have been carrying out regular checks of the boxes.

Gift Aid to the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust - June 2010

EMEC Ecology are pleased to announce that following a successful 2008/2009 we were able to Gift Aid a donation of £43,439 to the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust.

ISO 9001:2008 - April 2010

EMEC Ecology were assessed and certified as meeting the requirement of ISO 9001:2008 for the provision of ecological consultancy services.

Website Update - 21st February 2010

Our website was updated on the 21st February 2010. The website will be evolving over the next few months as more content is added. Over time it is intended to produced PDF sheets available to download on each of the main protected species. At present the PDF sheet for great crested newt surveys and bat surveys have been completed and are availble from the downloads section of this site.
