EMEC Ecology has carried out BREEAM Ecology and Land Use assessments throughout the Midlands with recent BREEAM Ecology projects undertaken within Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Staffordshire.
The BREEAM family of assessment methods and tools are all designed to help construction professionals understand and mitigate the environmental impacts of the developments they design and build. BREEAM provides a credible environmental label for buildings and allows developments to be recognised according to their environmental benefits.
EMEC Ecology will be happy to provide a quotation for an ecology survey for BREEAM that will be both efficient and cost effective to the site specifics. Reports are produced as soon as possible however should you have a specific date for submission; we will do our utmost to accommodate this.
If you require a quotation for a BREEAM Ecology report please send an email to us at firstname.lastname@example.org including any site plans that you have available (or details and photographs of the site if applicable) with details of the proposed development plans of the site, along with your name and contact details. Should you wish to contact us at the office please call 0115 964 4828.
The Code for Sustainable Homes was an environmental assessment method for new homes and had six mandatory performance levels in key areas. The code looked to deliver environmental savings in specific areas like water and energy. EMEC Ecology has undertaken surveys and assessment in relation to Chapter 9: Ecology of the code. The code ceased to be used in 2015, however there may be some ongoing projects.
